On the tire rack, and I'd need (want) them to be on their own set of wheels. Evidently, Tire Rack no longer sells steelies in 14 or 15 inch sizes. And if they do, not in 4x100 with the center bore and offset of a Saturn. Looks like I need to find somewhere else with steelies. Anywhere comparable online? Or should i start trolling junkyards? And I'd rather not spend a minimum of 75$ a wheel (aka not including tires) for ricertastical wheels just to mount snow tires on them

I've been looking for a set for my 240d for the same purpose. New seems impossible, and no luck with CL or local junkyards.

Look and see if there are some posts on Craigslist.

Summit might have some? I bought my rims from summit, and they had a pretty wide variety of rim sizes.

I've found plenty of places with rims, after a quick google. I was just hoping for a place like the tire rack where they will mount and balance your tires on your wheels before shipping them out, to save me from running all over town to get everything in order. Might end up just getting rims and tires seperately.

Ice tires are narrower than stock, should snow tires be narrow too?

Usually they are, yes. Helps "cut through the snow" to the road surface, which may be just an old wives tale, but nearly everywhere suggests getting slightly narrower tires for snow.

I am also considering buying snows or winter tires (I am not sure if they are the same) I also need them in a 14" size. I think the tire rack is the best deal.

Yeah, I think they do. I was just hoping for a tire/wheel package, instead of buying tires online, wheels at a junkyard or something, then going somewhere else entirely to have them mounted and balanced.

Try summit racing I noticed they have pretty good deals on snow tires and they sell a crap ton of wheels.
